Extension lecture on Traffic Rules Awareness held at Kamla Lohtia S.D. College

As a part of 31st National Road Safety Week being observed from January 11, 2020 toJanuary 17, 2020, an Extension lecture on Traffic Rules Awareness was organized atKamla Lohtia S.D. College, Ludhiana by NSS unit of the college to provide basicinformation to the students regarding traffic rules and Road Safety measures. Theresource person for the occasion was Sh. Gurdev Singh Walia, ACP, Traffic, Ludhiana.He familiarized the students about the essentiality of observing traffic rules, not merely asrules but as safety measures to save their precious lives. He exorted the youth to followdiscipline in every sphere of life and be a disciplined driver while moving on the road and conveyed a strong message among youth to make the Ludhiana city a Jam free andaccident free city. Principal Dr. Mukesh Kumar Mahajan endorsed this purposeful talkand motivated the students to follow the traffic rules in letter and spirit. He lauded theefforts of NSS Programme coordinators Dr. Mohd. Saleem and Dr. Ritu Gupta inorganizing this lecture. Sh. Dharam Paul Jain, President, College Managing Committeeand members of College Managing Committee appreciated this informative interaction.
