Covid-19 Vaccination camp at Kamla Lohtia S.D. College

A Free Covid-19 Vaccination camp was organised at Kamla Lohtia S.D. College, Ludhiana in collaboration with UPHC (Urban Primary Health Centre) – ShivPuri, Ministry of Health, Govt. of Punjab. The camp which was organized for the people in the age group of 18-44 (First Dose) aimed at ensuring availability of COVID vaccine for the youth which will serve as a check on the further spread of COVID-19 disease and strengthen them towards prevention from the fatality of this virus. The camp was inaugurated by Sh. Sunil Aggarwal, Acting President, College Managing Committee along with Sh. Sandeep Aggarwal, Sh. Sandeep Jain, Sh. Brij Mohan Ralhan, Sh. Shaman Jindal and Sh. R.D. Singhal. Mr. Vicky Dawar was also present on the occasion. Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar Marwaha thanked the College management for organizing this vaccination camp and exhorted the youth to vaccinate themselves so that they could remain protected from this perilous disease. He further added that vaccination has emerged as a significant tool in fighting with this deadly disease. A team of medical specialists comprising Dr. Shikha Dhanda, Nodal Officer (Zone-I), Dr. Harman Kaur and Dr. Daljit Kaur conducted the vaccination during this camp.
