Examinations

1. For BA/B.Com/B.C.A./B.B.A./PGDCA Third year Courses in order to incorporate the element of continuous assessment of students the college would conduct two mandatory tests in theory papers, one in the month September/October and other in the month of December/January.

2. The September test will carry weightage of 40% and the December test will have weightage of 60% in Aggregate marks. While calculating internal assessment 10% marks will be calculated on the basis of two house examinations conducted in case of B.Com. Third year and remaining 10% marks will be awarded on the basis of Project reports. Whereas in case of BA/BCA third year the Internal assessment will be calculated only on the basis of 10% weightage of two house examinations. In case of BBA third year the Internal assessment will be calculated as 20% of the total marks obtained in two house examinations.

3. For BA/B.Com/BCA/BBA/MA Economics/M.Com/M.Sc.IT First year (First & Second semester), Second year (Third and Fourth Semester), there will be two mid semester tests in the month of Oct./March before the commencement of each semester Examinations. (One in the month of December and Second in the month of May)

4. There will be regular class tests during the semester classes.

5. Along with class tests, presentations, term papers, assignment work will have to be completed by every student before the termination of each semester.

6. Progress report of each student will be notified/sent to their parents or will be communicated through parent – teacher meetings.

7. Students failing to appear in any of the examinations/class test will be fined heavily. However in case of emergency or acute illness proper leave duly signed from the class tutor and Principal may be submitted with the examination board well in advance.

8. Any student found using unfair means during house examinations/class tests will be penalized very heavily and can be immediately detained from appearing in Annual / Semester examinations.

9. For BA/B.Com/BCA/BBA First year (First & Second Semester) and second year (Third & Fourth Semester) 10% Internal Assessment will be calculated on the proposed formula in order to maintain uniformity and class test will have 5% weightage, Academic Activities (Seminar, Project and assignment will have 3% weightage and attendance will have 2% weightage.)

10. For M.A. Economics/M.Com/M.Sc IT, First Year (First and Second Semester) and Second Year (Third and Fourth Semester) 20% Internal assessment will be calculated by giving 50% weightage to mid semester test 30% weightage to written assignments and 20% weightage to class attendance.
