Kamla Lohtia S.D. College celebrates 7th International Yoga Day on the theme ‘Yoga at home and Yoga with family’

The NSS Unit of Kamla Lohtia S.D. College Ludhiana celebrated ‘7th International Yoga Day’ on the theme ‘Yoga at home and Yoga with family’ on 21st June, 2021. Students practi­­­ced Yoga and its various Asanas at home along with their family members and expressed it as a natural way to attain physical and mental fitness. Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar Marwaha described yoga as a perfect way to remain healthy and exhorted the young students to make it an inevitable part of their daily routine. He further recognized the significance of Yoga as a means to fight with the ongoing COVID – 19 pandemic. The event was organized under the guidance of NSS Programme coordinators Dr. Mohd. Saleem and Dr. Ritu Gupta. The College Managing Committee headed by Sh. Sunil Aggarwal, Acting President along with Sh. Sandeep Aggarwal, Sh. Sandeep Jain, Sh. Brij Mohan Ralhan, Sh. Shaman Jindal and Sh. R.D. Singhal had a word of appreciation for this meaningful pursuit.
