Lohri Celebrations held at Kamla Lohtia S.D. College

Lohri- the illustrious festival of Punjab was celebrated with great fervour at Kamla Lohtia S.D. College, Ludhiana. The celebration involving whole staff was marked by bonfire which symbolized the burning of all negativities along with spreading the message of togetherness and harmony. Moving around the holy bonfire, every one prayed and wished for health and prosperity of one and all and removal of turbulence all around. Expressing the significance of Lohri, Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar Marwaha said that the festival of Lohri realigns the youth with the rich heritage of Punjab and described it as a harbinger of joy, hope and fulfilment. The College Managing Committee headed by President Sh. Dharam Paul Jain along with Sh. Sunil Aggarwal, Sh. Sandeep Aggarwal, Sh. Sandeep Jain, Sh. B.M. Ralhan, Sh. Shaman Jindal and Sh. R.D. Singhal also conveyed their best wishes on the occasion of Lohri.
