Van Mahotsva celebrated at Kamla Lohtia S.D. College, Ludhiana

‘Van Mahotsva’ was celebrated on the premises of Kamla Lohtia S.D. College, Ludhiana to commemorate the ‘Annual one week tree planting festival’ held in the first week of July. The College Managing Committee headed by Sh. Sunil Aggarwal. Acting President along with Sh. Sandeep Aggarwal, Sh. Sandeep Jain, Sh. Brij Mohan Ralhan, Sh. Shaman Jindal and Sh. R.D. Singhal planted saplings of various medicinal and decorative plants. The event was organised for promoting the cause of a Green Society and a pollution free world to live in. About 100 saplings of different varieties of plants were planted on this occasion. Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar Marwaha conveyed the message that a small sapling when nourished and grown into a tree, can save many lives and further assured to continue with these kind of noble initiatives in future as well. The whole staff of the college gave their full participation for the tree plantation.
